MINUTES OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING
August 12, 2003
Meeting held at Bannerman Place, 1508 Bannerman Road, 6:30 p.m.
Board members present: Robert Hicks, Steve Spook and Steve Stolting
Meeting called to order at 6:35 p.m. by President, Robert Hicks
Minutes from the July 8, 2003 board meeting approved as submitted.

ACC Report: Bryan Seaquist
Bryan will submit a revised list of violations to the Board before the next
meeting. He expressed that a few issues will need demand letters from the
attorney.
City of Tallahassee Parks Department Meeting:
Robert Hicks met with City Parks Department representatives Randy Trousdale and
David Chapman on Monday morning at the 80 acre site in Ox Bottom Manor. The City
has upgraded the development of the 80 acre site to be included in their 5 year
budget plan. The park area would be owned by the City but for the exclusive use
of Ox Bottom Manor residents if developed. Robert will be meeting with the City
again to discus details and the attorney will review all documents prior to any
developments.
Common space on Meadow Ridge Drive was also discussed as being developed into
a park for the homeowners. The Park Committee members will obtain quotes to have
the area maintained and landscape improvements made, if the City would allow the
project. Robert will submit an article about these park developments for
production in the upcoming newsletter. Kathy Reardon, Gene Strickland, Steve
Spook and Steve Stolting volunteered to be on the new Park Committee.

Fall Picnic: Discussion included changing the food items to basic hamburgers
& hotdogs, renting sno-cone and cotton candy machine, having entertainment and
door prizes. A 5K run was also proposed for Meadow Ridge Drive before the picnic
starts. Gene Strickland and Bryan Seaquist volunteered to organize the race. The
picnic will be held in October and will be announced in a separate mailer.
Marie Eddy requested permission to sign-up for the City Utility Auto-Draft
program for automatic payment of the entrance utility bills. All board members
agreed to sign the application.
Newsletter & Directory Updates: Marie submitted copies of the rough draft of
the directory which should be printed next week. The newsletter is currently in
production and will also be printed and distributed next week upon receipt of
the Board’s articles.
